On Aug. 30, Wofford College welcomed its newest class to campus with the traditional greeting – Orientation Staff members, student athletes, faculty and staff and even President Nayef Samhat and his wife, Prema, swarmed new students’ cars, vans and trucks to unload belongings into their new Wofford homes.
During the first-year orientation programming, students attended the opening session on the front lawn of Old Main, visited Camp Greystone for The Summit adventure, competed in the annual field day and participated in Stop Hunger Now, the Class of 2021 service project. Classes for all students began on Sept. 4.
