It isn’t a secret that when March rolls around, spring break cannot come fast enough for the majority of campus. Although everyone is ready by the second week post-Interim, the strategic timing choice of break seems perfect for some irrefutable reasons.

Falling in line with the local school district calendar means you can hang out with all your high school friends. Your elementary school friends will be free, too. Don’t forget about the middle schools–your favorite pubescent cousin can soak up the sun alongside you.

Spring break in April means your friends at other colleges have already gotten their bikini sandy toe pictures on Instagram months ago. You’ve got no competition, plus you’ve had extra time to be in the gym just working on your fitness. I hear Fergie vacations this week anyways.

Those Floridian beaches won’t be the least bit crowded. They’ve probably just finished the beer. Netflix has recently revamped so you’ve got some new programming if you’re not a beach goer.

Spring break at Wofford falls right around ye ole midterms, but there’s no real answer on when those actually are—so you might be spending the break studying. But not in Milliken since it, as well as the rest of campus, closes down for the week. You surely wouldn’t want to party on spring break, being the responsible Wofford student that you are.

An April spring break means that you’ve had time to work on your tan—laying in the snow that was on the ground two weeks ago. Everybody knows that a base tan is the secret to no burns. Tan/ blister lines are in. Also,    Easter is right around the corner which means you’ll definitely get in your travel miles during the month.

We hope all the Terriers out there have a great break full of studying, driving for hours that they’ll never get back and getting burnt to a crisp.
