Have you ever wanted to have a night that involved working out, hanging out, dinner, drinks and a whole lot of fun? Well, lucky for Wofford students, this ideal night is coming to downtown Spartanburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 4.
One of Sparkle City’s own, Sandra Cannon of Sandra Cannon Interiors, has teamed up with Sarah Frick Fitness to bring The Works Tour to Spartanburg. Having worked in Spartanburg for almost 14 years now, Sandra is always eager to be involved in adding to the “awesomeness that is Spartanburg,” so she figured, what better way to do that than to bring in yoga prodigy Sarah Frick?
Here’s what you need to know about The Works Tour in Spartanburg: Links to buy discounted tickets can be found in the Instagram bios of Sandra Cannon – @sandracannoninteriors, Sarah Frick- @sarahfrickfitness, and The Works – @theworkschas, as well as at TheWorksCHS.com. The event ticket, reduced from $55 to $35 for students, includes entry to an all-levels class, a Q&A session with Sarah Frick and an invite to the after party hosted at FR8 Yard. When you sign up to attend the event, you will receive instructions on how to obtain a “Swag Bag” full of goodies from an array of sponsors, including Lululemon. Mark your calendars for Thurs., Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. for a great, fun-filled night and buy your ticket, which Cannon says are “selling like wildfire.” With FR8 Yard and Blue Moon creating cocktails specific to this event and Lulu Lemon hosting a pop-up shop at The Lemon Peel, this event is bursting with support from the community.
Frick has co-owned Charleston Power Yoga in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant for over eight years. Creator of The Works—”a yoga-based workout that involves stretching and muscle movement while allowing you to burn calories and get your heart rate up,” the Works Tour has pop-up events throughout the year all along the East Coast. From New York to Augusta, the studio will open a location in Spartanburg in October.
