It’s March and with March also comes madness. This March marks the career ends of four players who have tasted a couple of Wofford Men’s Basketball’s most successful seasons.

C.J. Neumann, Spencer Collins, Zach Korkowski and Justin Gordon all will move on to new lives without Wofford basketball coming in May.

They all have great memories of playing for the team, but Neumann reflects on their home win against Furman on Feb. 20 as one of his best memories ever.

“It was a great atmosphere,” says Neumann. “I couldn’t have asked for anything more from the fans. I’ll remember this one forever.”

In that same game, walk-on forward Korkowski recorded his first start ever as a Terrier and says that is one of the best moments of his career.

“My other senior teammates were joking with me [before the game] about it. It was good to be sitting down with them and standing at the tip. It’s a memory I will never forget.”

Still climbing up the Wofford career-scoring list, Collins has grown into his role as a leader on the offensive end. One thing he doesn’t like thinking about is the end of the season and his career.

“It has kicked in a little bit,” he says, regarding his anxiousness about graduation. “I think back to memories like Justin hitting the big shot against Mercer in Ben Johnson last year and playing Samford, coming back from nine points down with two minutes to go. A lot of memories, but we’re just so thankful for all of our fans coming out and supporting us.”

“It’s crazy to think I’ve played my last game in Benjamin Johnson Arena,” adds Gordon. “I feel like I may have another one, but winning like we did [against Furman], it’s a great way to go out.”

Gordon was the emotional leader for the Terriers this year, grabbing the torch from Lee Skinner the year before.
