Cavaliers will experience national spotlight in tournament

Dorman High Boys Basketball has experienced unprecedented success this season, dominating local competition and gaining exposure on the way to a 27-1 record. The sole defeat came at the hands of prep school powerhouse Oak Hill Academy early in the season. Posting gaudy stat lines and margins of victory reaching 30, 40, even 50, have become a routine matter for the Cavaliers this season.

The Cavs disposed of nearby rival Boiling Springs 102-30 a couple weeks ago. However, stiffer competition is on the horizon. The school won an appeal to the SCHSL for the team to compete in the Geico High School Nationals in New York City April 2-4.

The Cavaliers are led by Butler commit Myles Tate and Clemson signee PJ Hall, who is the top-ranked player in the state.
