By: Steele Smith, Staff Writer

Wofford’s Homecoming weekend is quickly approaching. Last night, the annual Mr. Wofford competition kicked off a week of events leading into Homecoming Weekend.

Mr. Wofford typically involves various male students nominated by different organizations across campus displaying their talents and personalities through different, comical mediums. As always, the winner of the competition will be presented during the Homecoming proceedings at halftime of the football game this Saturday, Oct. 22nd.

Mr. Wofford 2015, Rod McCants ’17, recalls the preparation that the competition required of him and the other competitors, saying, “We would practice everyday for a week leading up to it.” He        also says that of all the Wofford traditions, he holds the Mr. Wofford competition to be his favorite.
